The 1,000 Hours podcast is co-hosted by 3-time Master Flight Instructor Michael Leighton & Xander Schulz a 23 year old Helicopter and Airplane Flight Instructor. Together they talk with friends, enthusiasts, and experts in the aviation world to help shed light on how people can achieve their personal or career flying goals. Mary Schofield is an airline pilot and first officer at SkyWest. Over the course of 6+ years, she went from working as a line service technician fueling the very jet aircraft she wanted to fly to working as a flight instructor for Flight Safety Academy to eventually landing her dream job at the airlines.
