Janette is the first African American County Board Supervisor in Ozaukee County (WI). She is also the author of 10 Reasons Communication Brings Transformation: Unleash Your Greatness and has published several articles. She currently serves as the Executive Director of External Partnerships for Cardinal Stritch University. Her professional experience includes positions in government and academia and spans over 20 years in Information Technology. Her leadership background has allowed her to pivot seamlessly across industries. Janette was awarded both the 2019 NAACP Game Changer Award, and the 2018 Milwaukee Business Journal Woman of Influence Award. In 2011, she started Leaders Leaving Legacies, LLC where she empowers others to be successful leaders through coaching & mentoring.
