Working From Home with Stylist
December 1, 2020 1:15 am
For many people working from home is standard; a normal way of getting your work done. But for all of us who are new to it, suddenly finding yourself plunged into a brand-new world of conference calls and solo tea breaks can be quite a shock. Without the support and company of our colleagues around us – our work wives and husbands who give us more confidence and distraction than we’d probably care to admit to our bosses – working from home can feel isolated and unproductive. That’s where Stylist steps in. In every episode of Working From Home With Stylist, Lisa Smosarski, Editor-in-Chief, and Alix Walker, Editor-at-Large, will bring the office to you; offering the support – and distraction – you might craving from your kitchen table.
In this one off special, hosts Lisa Smosarski and Alix Walker revisit working from home during the pandemic and the changes we are making to our working world.
They are joined by Elizabeth Uviebinené, podcaster and author of Slay in Your Lane and Loud Black Girls, and Fiona Thomas, author of Out of Office: Ditch the 9-5 and Be Your Own Boss, to discover their expert tips on how to thrive whilst working from home.
Alix and Lisa also shine a spotlight on Stylist’s new mental health initiative, Work It Out,discover the ultimate work-from-anywhere kit and the editor of Stylist Loves, Gemma Crisp, brings some festive inspiration and her best shopping buys for your colleagues this Christmas.
